Frequently Asked Questions
Our team has compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions about our program. If there is a question that you don't see the answer to, feel free to use our contact form to submit a question.
When does the next course begin?
Tangible cohorts are 10 weeks long and follow the seasons with a cohort offered in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. You can see the full list of upcoming cohorts on our course selection page! Just fill out this quick form: https://tangibleschool.com/#quickapply
Where will the next course be located?
The next course will be held in Lehi, Utah at the Kiln. The Kiln is a co-working space created to inspire, connect, and accelerate business growth. We selected the Kiln as the location for our Lehi classes to offer our students an environment that could facilitate relationships and opportunity. The Kiln has a large classroom space with seating, desks, premium audio visual capabilities, and collaboration spaces. It is the perfect setting for Tangible classes!
What day and time will the classes be held?
The classes are held every Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to approximately 10:00 p.m.
Will there ever be a course with daytime classes?
We do not currently offer daytime classes but we plan to expand our course offering to include other schedules soon.
Will there be courses in other locations in the future?
Yes, we plan to expand to new markets outside of Utah with more concrete plans by the end of 2019.
Are the classes offered online for remote students?
At this time we do not offer the course materials online for remote students but we plan to launch this offering in early 2020.
What expertise level is ideal for Tangible?
At this time we are tailoring the curriculum of each class to the expertise level of the students we accept. However, we plan to expand our courses to offer a beginner, intermediate, and advanced program in the future.
What is the size of the classes?
Tangible classes are meant to be intimate enough to facilitate learning but large enough to offer a dynamic cohort of students to network, collaborate, and learn with. The class sizes won’t ever be more than 50 students.
Can I still have access to the course material if I miss a day of class?
Yes, all students will have access to the class videos and materials during the course to refer back to or use to catch up if classes are missed. We also allow students to attend the classes they missed from their cohort in the next cohort.
Can I bring my spouse or cofounder to class?
Yes, each student enrollment comes with free enrollment for their partner or co-founder. We also offer each student three buddy-passes to use throughout the 10-week course to give to anyone they would like who has interest in attending specific classes.
What if I can’t attend the entire 10-week course and only want to attend one or two classes?
Does Tangible offer a payment plan?
Yes, we do offer a payment plan. An initial payment is required soon after your acceptance into the program to reserve your spot, and the remaining payments are not required until the course starts. The payment plan is flexible as long as a payment is made each month during the course and is completely paid off by the last class. If you have questions about this option please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I get a refund if I decide the course is not a good fit for me?
We stand behind our course and are committed to offering you the best e-commerce education to help your business succeed. With that said, we can offer a full money-back guarantee if you decide the course is not a good fit for you after attending the first two classes. You will be required to contact your course facilitator via email the following Monday after the first week of classes and notify them that you will not continue on with the course. They will assist you in processing your refund.
How much does it cost to attend?
Tangible 10-week courses are $2,500 per person/cofounder partnership/spouse.
What if I can’t afford the course?
We have partnered with local companies to offer full scholarships to those who apply and are selected. We also plan to offer an online course that will be largely discounted coming early in 2020. To be notified of scholarship opportunities please follow Tangible on Instagram and Facebook where the scholarships will be posted.
What if I don't get accepted into the program?
If you are not accepted into the program you applied for that does not mean you are not the right fit for Tangible. We curate each cohort with students that we feel will learn well together based on their product, business model, learning styles, and level of experience. If you are not accepted we will offer feedback of what you can do to be accepted into a future cohort.
